Please watch this video before setting up Microsoft Teams. This video will talk you through the process of both downloading and signing in to Microsoft Teams.
How do I download Microsoft Teams on my computer/laptop?
To download Microsoft Teams, click here
After the page has opened, click on Download for Desktop
Click on Download Teams
After it’s finished downloading, go back to your e-mails. You should have received an e-mail from Microsoft Teams. Click on Open Microsoft Teams in the e-mail.
You will now need to create an account with Microsoft Teams. You will need to use the e-mail address you used to register on your Dysgu Cymraeg course.
Click on Next
Create a password for your account, then click on Next

You will receive a code via e-mail to verify your account. Go back to your e-mails to retrieve the code. Enter the code in the box below then click on Next
Click on Next
Click on the arrows to rotate the image, then click on Done
Enter your details, then click on Next
Click on Next to confirm your age, then choose whether you would like to stay signed in or not.
Click on Accept
The Microsoft Teams Desktop app should now open. You may need to sign in again using the details you have just provided. Enter your e-mail address, then the password you have just created.
In the drop-down menu, click on Bangor University (Guest), then click on Continue
You should now have access to the team for your course. On the left you will see the course code and the name of your tutor. On the right, you will see a posting page. When it’s time to join the lesson, click on Join
**You do not need a link to join the lesson. Please be patient and wait for the Join button to appear.
